Description —Develop&improve methods for inspection, testing, and evaluations. —Create, implement & control sampling procedures —Develop forms&instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality reliable data. —Create, implement , maintain & control statistical quality tools. —Establish calibration plans to evaluate precision and accuracy of measuring equipments and testing. —Direct workers engaged in measuring&testing products —Tabulate data concerning material, product, or process quality and reliability, and verify accuracy of reports —Compile&write different company procedures —Develop training material&conduct training sessions on quality control activities to build quality focused workplace —Responsible for Quality System Maintenance. —Perform root cause analysis, suggest & implement agreed upon corrective action for defective product, and minimizing the frequency of quality problems recurrence —Implement containment and corrective action to rectify customers“ problems —Responsible for continuous improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 6S, lean methods, etc. —Improve in-process control in the entire processes. —Supervising the lab activities. —Coordinate in follow up business risk analysis and the required actions as well as updating the Business continuity plan required by the corporate. —Handle on behalf of Department manager external communications with external parties after the needed approvals according to chain of command.
Qualifications •3-5 years (preferably in metal sheet working ,welding, surface treatment) •Familiar with core quality & six sigma tools •Stainless steel and Carbon steel Metallurgical background is an asset •Hard worker •Work under pressure •Strict to deadlines and tasks. •Strong Communication & presentation skills. •Team player.
