Description — Analyze the functional and technical specification. — Generate test cases for functional testing — Set up the test environment, prepare and acquire test data. — Implement tests on the required test levels, execute test cases, evaluate results, log issues into the Issue tracking system , verify and follow up on issues closure — Automate tests (as applicable). — Measure performance of components and systems (as applicable). — Review tests developed by others.
Qualifications Education: B.Sc. in Computer Science (preferably) or related field Years of Exp: Relevant in field (1 to 3) Technical Skills: • XML and Database / SQL knowledge • Issue tracking tool usage • Automated tools knowledge is a preferable • Performance and security testing tools is a plus Personal: • Alertness: Quick - Responsive – Attentive • Manners: Polite - Considerate – Polished • Intelligence: Keen - Discerning • Personality: Appealing • Maturity: Sound Judgment – Stable • Enthusiasm: Eager - Vigorous - Forceful
