Description 1. Direct and control the staff of the department to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards. 2. Develop and implement personnel policies to support business goals and to ensure that the company complies with legal requirements and best practice. 3. Develop, implement and monitor all required personnel procedures relating to staff terms and conditions of employment. 4. Provide a comprehensive personnel advisory service to all company managers and staff to ensure that the company follows best practice in the management of its staff and to ensure compliance with legal requirements. 5. Research and develop personnel policies which will ensure that the company recruits and retains a pool of well-trained and highly motivated staff. 6. Provide an employee relations service to the company, including negotiating with employee representatives on personnel issues, to ensure that harmonious relationships and effective communications are maintained between management and staff.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree. - Minimum of 8 years experience in Personnel - 2 years experience in managing personnel function preferably in an industrial environment - Experience in other HR disciplines is a plus
