Description -Design and layout of Business Monthly Magazine. -Maintaining AmChams corporate image in published materials for events organized by AmCham Egypt. -Creating membership packages (folders, cards, certificates). -Creating printed materials for AmCham Egypts annual doorknock mission. -Maintaining digital archives of the departments output on CD-ROMs. -Following up on all AmCham print production tasks. -Planning/executing print production according to schedule. -Overseeing the production process.
Qualifications -The applicant must be proficient in Quark Xpress and the Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Good communication skills both verbal and written. -High organization skills and ability to multi-task. -Knowledge of web applications while not required, is a plus. -Practical experience as a designer preferably within a corporate environment. -Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles. -Good communication skills. -Ability to work under pressure on a high volume of projects and for long hours. -Excellent organizational skills, including the maintenance of digital and printed resource files. -Strong knowledge of the prepress and production process.
