Description The position involves conceiving, reporting and writing feature stories on business and economic news and trends in Egypt from tax legislation to traffic problems; from social entrepreneurship to the electricity shortage as well as some editing.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will be hardworking, and have some experience working as a journalist. Financial/business expertise is not a must, but he or she should have a strong interest in the news and current affairs of the region and a grasp of basic economic concepts and how to analyze relevant issues in a way thats interesting, understandable and jargon-free. Graceful writing and tenacious, accurate research and reporting skillls are essential, as is a willingness to work long hours when necessary, including occasional weekends.
