Description — Management of the controlling function and overseeing the controlling team. — Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes — Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet — Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports — Financial modelling and analysis — Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained — Overseeing the Payroll process — Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance issues — Liaise with external auditors on the preparation of statutory financial statement — Liaise with internal auditors — Prepare monthly accounts (balance sheet) — Preparation of annual statutory Accounts — Preparation of Tax computations (VAT and corporation Tax) — Cash flow statements — Review company internal controls
Qualifications • At least five (5) years’ experience in a similar position in a service organization • CPA. CMA formal accounting qualification. • Must be assertive and able to communicate well with peers and supervisors. • Able to work on modern ERP & IT systems • Competent on Excel • Good communicator • Hard working • Able to challenge the status quo and drive through changes • Diligent with strong attention to detail • Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations. • Good understanding of business as well as financial issues • Sound decision making
