Description - Specific Duties : — Prepare laboratory procedures and instructions and provide routine maintenance of departmental instruments. — Coordinate daily activities in the laboratory. — Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of laboratory staff; develop work performance standards; schedule and assign work and develop priorities; provide technical expertise as needed or requested. — Calibration of Equipments in accordance with appropriate methods and standards. — Prepare and maintain required documentation of test results; record and analyze data using computer hardware and software. — Consult and network with other agencies for the laboratory to be self sustaining in long term. — Maintain safety records and Material Safety Data Sheets. — Oversee storage of hazardous waste removal. — Perform related duties as assigned. — Follow up environmental monitoring & validation of manufacturing, sampling and clean areas. — Maintains efficacy of antimicrobial preservatives in pharmaceutical product. — Maintains the availability of lab media & reagents besides looking after maintenance & calibration of lab equipments. — Follow up examination of purified water and Water station microbial limit test. — Defining lab needs by issuing purchase requests & select new requirements from catalogues and references. — Follow up of safety measures by supervising disinfectants preparation decontamination of contaminated media & items.
Qualifications --Job Qualification & Requirements : General: University graduate. Faculty of Pharmacy Technical : 7years experience in related jobs. • Practical experience in related job. • Ability to set up work priorities. • Good knowledge of test technique and applications.
