Description 1.Ensures that all material requirements for a successful production plan are available on time and develops back up plans in cases of emergency. 2.Optimizes supply chain to minimize storage times and enhance efficiency. 3.Plans to avoid any stock rupture of finished products and expiration of raw materials. 4.Ensures that all stock materials in inventory are stored in proper conditions and conforming to GMP. 5.Maintains accuracy of inventory items and that both physical stocktaking and system quantities are matched. 6.Sources all materials from approved vendors at the optimum prices, in the right time and the right quantities, with the most advantageous payment terms. 7.Fulfill all purchasing needs of QC, Engineering, R&D, and all factory departments and making sure they are on time. 8.Searching always for new suppliers for the different materials to reduce cost of goods, following the approved written procedures in approving any vendor. 9.Ensures that all activities in the Department are performed by trained staff on cGMPs and approved written procedures.
Qualifications 1.Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Commerce, or Science Graduate. 2.Minimum 10 Years of experience in reputable pharmaceutical company. 3.Excellent English, communication, and computer skills. 4.Hard working, Smart negotiator, Quality oriented, Meticulous organizer, Problem-solving and leadership skills. 5.Superb planning and logistics skills. 6.Excellent working knowledge with local and international suppliers of herbal extracts/oils, and APIs. 7.Knowledgeable with MOH requirements for procurement of APIs and dietary supplements raw materials. 8.Knowledgeable with clearance and release of materials from local customs. 9.Working experience in shipping finished products from Egypt to our international customers. 10.Prior experience in managing warehouse personnel effectively.
