Description -Setup, support, upgrade and maintain WAN and HP LAN network switches includes UTP and fiber connectivity, internet routing, proxy and firewall, link aggregation, VLAN, VPN, MSTP, IRF, DNS, DHCP, terminating and patching in Cairo buildings. -Setup, support, update and maintain IT infrastructure equipment on the rig sites includes LAN network equipment and connection, CCTV equipment, cables, rack, servers, desktops/monitors, wireless and VSAT WAN connections and IT container. -Ensure authorized access, required space and functional equipment for data centers and UPS room. Organize and label the data center racks, power, equipment and cables and keep it in a proper condition. -Install, deploy, mount, maintain and upgrade windows server hardware, operating system, drivers and security patches. ( Hyper-V and terminal services ) -Administrate and manage windows AD user accounts, security access, network shares, group policy and mailboxes. Setup, enhance, maintain and administrate monitoring systems for network equipment, WAN connections usage, servers, and printers cartridges and UPS devices. -Setup, administrate, maintain and upgrade data storage equipment and data backup environment. -Install Linux clients and support server environment includes database, users, home directories, drivers, network shares and data replication. -Support coverage and share information to the other job holder with any changes in the related areas. -Develop and update documentation of related areas on the network drive.
Qualifications -Five years’ work experience in the related field of IT infrastructure. -University degree in Engineering. -Experience with administration of HP networking and fortigate firewall, windows server AD and exchange, EMC networker backup and data storage. -Knowledge of Linux administration and data center administration. -Knowledge of project management. -Ability to work occasionally after working hours and during weekends. -Ability to communicate and follow up -Excellent verbal and written English language skills. -Experience in the use of MS office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
