Description — Undertake operational tasks required for the effective provision, administration, and maintenance of IT and Systems services; — Plan and deploy operating system and application upgrades and security patches; carry out other standard system management tasks; — Respond to service requests, and assisting on the front desk as required; — Define and document operational procedures; — Responsible of planning and designing network infrastructure including (Switches, Network Cabling, Wireless Networks) — Responsible of infrastructure service such as (File Server, Printer Server, Web Server and Antivirus server). — Responsible of the Fire wall (configuration and access list) — Person in charge for the daily support (printer, computers, scanners, windows and applications) — Responsible for the IT Purchasing (Servers, Printer, Scanners, PC, Rack, switches, Routers, Software and spare parts) — Preparing reports for the current infrastructure (user list, email account list, hardware list and software inventory). — Responsible for HW/SW Maintains.
Qualifications • Educated to degree level or equivalent, Prefer BSc of Computer & Information System Faculty. • From 3 to 5 Years of Experience in same field. • Proven expertise in Unix/Linux systems administration. • Good understanding of TCP/IP networks; • Proficient in server hardware and OS solutions. • The ability to develop and enhanced expertise in relevant fields; • Good personal communications skills, including the ability to liaise with users at all levels; • Evidence of good personal organization and time management skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work on own initiative. • Experience of using virtual infrastructure or cloud computing; • MCSA or MCSE or MCITP Certificate is a PLUS.
