Description The quality assurance engineer will be responsible for scheduling, and coordinating, all tasks related to ensuring the quality of DrBridge Software products and report directly quality assurance manager. In specific, the engineer will develop, execute and maintain user stories, test cases, test scripts, unit test plans, and QA test plans. The engineer will assist in implementing a test automation environment and testing process, and execute automated testing. — Ensure and test automation implementation efficiently and effectively. — Develop test processes to improve test efficiency. — Define, implement and drive root cause analysis process to optimize overall quality improvement — Coordinate with development engineers to solve recurrent problems including recreating failures and verifying fixes. — Work with complex database schema and write SQL queries. — Utilize tools like Firebug and Fiddler in order to achieve optimum results.
Qualifications • Education Qualifications: bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent, preferably in computer science or related fields. A professional software quality engineer certification is a plus. • The candidate should possess solid communication, interpersonal and leadership skills and should be comfortable working in very dynamic and collaborative work environment. • Candidate must have 1 - 3 years of relative experience; testing web application preferably written in .NET • Solid clear understanding of software development life cycle. • Candidate must exhibit problem solving skills and ability to take initiatives and learn fast.
