Description Supervising & Follow up the Purchasing function in reviewing and approving different Hikma functions Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure their compliance with the designated approved Purchase Requests (PRs), demand and supply plans, in addition to contributing in the development of the purchasing plans in collaboration with the Supply Planning function, as well as participating in setting suppliers evaluation criteria., as well as building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers. 1.Building and maintaining strong relationships with all major and important suppliers 2. Ensuring the delivery of the purchased raw at the right time to achieve high customer service level 3. Issuing, reviewing and approving POs to ensure their compliance with the designated approved PRs, demand and supply plans. 4. Explore available technology and implement best practices related to purchasing activities. 5. Sourcing for alternative reputable suppliers to avoid shortage and price increase. 6. Follow up with shipping Manager to ensure that all customs material movements are completed, recorded accurately, and follow scheduled plan. 7. Plan, organize, track and disseminate information related to Raw Material deliveries. 8. Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance. 9. Ensure compliance with government regulations; assure all items have proper paperwork and documentation. 10. Provide guidance and share best practices with junior purchasing staff. 11. Implement policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and professional operation consistent with corporate vision. 12. Participating in the development of the purchasing plans in collaboration with the MRP controller function taking into consideration achieving cost effectiveness, and ensuring smooth supply of raw and packaging materials with the optimal level of inventory
Qualifications B.Sc. degree in Science OR Pharmacy
