Description —Service existing accounts. —Obtain sales orders. —Follow scheduled periodic visits to customers. —Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule. —Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. —Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature. —Inform line manager by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. —Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. —Evaluate results and competitive developments by keeping up to date with products and competitors. —Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. —Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. —Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. —Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. —Provide customers with catalogues, price lists and all required products materials and printouts. —Compile local sales figures. —Analyze local sales trends. —Collect customer feedback. —Keeping track of customers information and updates. —Forecasting future trends in customers needs/behaviour. —Following local sales leads.
Qualifications Strong communication and socializing skills. Outstanding persuasion skills. Strong analytical skills. High presentation skills. A professional, courteous and helpful manner. Outstanding organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and carry out multiple responsibilities. Ability to build rapport easily with customers from different backgrounds. Ability to work with a team and being an effective team member. Ability to work and handle customers under stress and meet deadlines. ERP user
