Description -Manage and provide effective leadership to the security team -Implement security policies, rules and regulations -Determine appropriate levels of security and advise clients as necessary -Assess the security risks -Distribute safety regulations among the site -Conduct interviews for security officers candidates -Identify the all training needs and proceed at the appropriate time -Maintain the security team training plans up to date for all security staff -Test the security teams knowledge of procedures regularly -Control the security team attendance, ensuring that there is adequate cover to maintain services at all times -Assure complete customer satisfaction -Conduct monthly staff meeting; discuss raised issues during the month -Act as focal point of investigations involving security; prepare reports and follow up action -Report any significant security breaches, undertake full investigation, recommend course of action -Maintain an emergency training curriculum -Be on call on a 24hrs/ 7 days basis for any emergency occurring at the site -Perform regular inspection and supplies inventory -Do inspections for new clients; prepare security proposal and cost estimates (on behalf of the security manager) -Tracking budget expenses
Qualifications Strong management and leadership skills Analysing information Judgement and decision making skills Good communication/ interpersonal skills Surveillance Skills Self-Management Fluent English language MS Office proficiency Staffing Good knowledge of security environments and hazards Familiarity with public services practices Industrial safety and security Writing reports
