GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will work in the Biomedical Sciences Program as a Teaching Assistant. . He/she will work with members of a dedicated team to teach undergraduate students. Responsibilities include working with laboratory experiments, performing teaching and teaching-related duties, and general participation in program evaluation and continued development. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful applicant will have the following responsibilities: • Help professors and develop course plans and experiments. • Assist faculty members with classroom and lab instruction and exams. • Hand out assignments and grade papers. • Meet with and instruct students during office hours and clinics. • Take attendance and record responses. • Perform required teaching-related projects.
Qualifications • MB.BCh in medical sciences form an accredited medical school, with a minimum of very good grade. • Teaching experience in university setting is preferred. • Ability to handle several tasks effectively • Ability to work collaboratively in a team • Excellent English, written and spoken.
