Job Objective: To ensure that food products meet standards set by both Orient and regulatory authorities. To develop and review quality and safety policies and manage audits by third-party inspectors. To train quality and safety employees and oversee manufacturing and production processes. Job Accountabilities: • Ensure that all company food safety and quality assurance procedures are followed and documented correctly at all times • Inspect facilities for compliance with standards, determining methods to resolve any issues that arise. • Review customer feedback and respond to any complaints. • Conduct facility food safety audits as well as manage third party audits • Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all products coming in and out of the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards • Update existing food safety procedures and documentation to keep up with changing requirements • Assist buyers with training and educating current and potential suppliers to ensure compliance • Oversee proper maintenance and sanitation of all facility to comply with food safety requirements
Qualifications Bachelors degree in production engineering or food-related major. 3 to 5 years of quality and food safety experience- Comprehensive knowledge of HACCP - Previous exposure to a food-manufacturing environment will be highly regarded. Computer Skills MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint
