1. Constant Knowledge of company programming procedures, languages, supported applications and systems. 2. Compile with all of the companys policies and procedures. 3. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed. 4. Support day-to-day running of applications. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported. 5. Ability to evaluate and interpret end user information requirements, and to develop appropriate systems and/or applications solutions. Creates prototypes for client engagements. 6. Research, design, develop, test, implement, modify and maintain software systems to meet the company needs. 7. Testing sample data sets to check that output from the program works as intended. Identifies system deficiencies and recommends solutions. Evaluating the programs effectiveness. Conducting user acceptance testing to ensure the program can be used easily, quickly and accurately. 8. Providing training to users of a new developed systems system. 9. Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports. 10. Write and maintain programming documentation, user manuals, test plans, functional and technical specifications. Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference. 11. Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging.
Qualifications - Bachelors degree in a relevant computer science or communications major Or Relevant Post Graduate Studies - Excellent knowledge of Developing Applications using .Net Technologies (C sharp or VB.Net) on MS SQL server database - Knowledge of Java, C, Visual C, PHP, Oracle Database is a plus - Previous experience in S/W development is a plus. Technical: Able to update and Create Oracle Workflows, Able to update and create notifications, Business and functional background, Create Reports, Experience in Business Intelligence, Design Business Areas on Discoverer, Documentation skills, Form Customization, Able to analyse New requirements and Able to design new solutions.
