Liaise with functional or operational area managers to understand their current and anticipated demand for materials and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing purchasing activities. Evaluate and select suppliers and negotiate terms for major purchases; commit to purchases under the supervision of the purchasing manager; that are in the organization’s best interest. Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials supplied; follow-up the status of purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely-manner delivery. Focal-points the communication between the department and suppliers to resolve timeliness and quality problems. Respond to escalated inquires from other departments/suppliers, and respond with purchasing recommendations.
Qualifications Graduation: BSC. of Electrical Engineering (power). Experience: 2 yrs max. Skills: High Negotiation skills
