Reporting Channel/Interactions:
• Reports directly to the SCAD Specialists with a secondary reporting line to the Graphics & Production Manager for Artwork/Design
• Interacts and provides assistance to the SCAD Office Team
• Communicates and interacts with university students, staff and external parties
Educational Background:
• BA in Applied Arts preferably graphic design or media design
Experience:
• Fresh Graduate or (1 - 3 years) experience work/internship in the field of social media
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement the SCAD/GUC messages through different social media channels
• Responsible for posting and updating content on social media channels of the SCAD office
• Assist in handling the content management of the SCAD web-portal
• Responsible for handling correspondence and inquiries on social media in a timely manner to facilitate adequate engagement on the pages
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images or videos) that builds meaningful connections and encourages all served parties to take action
• Gather continuous feedback and insights from social media channels and web-portal for analysis and performance enhancement
• Work on the creative part of office needs/designs in an interesting and appealing way to all stakeholders in cooperation with the GUC design office
Job-related Skills:
• Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Premiere
• Organizational Skills
• Language Skills:
Arabic – Fluent (Written & Spoken)
English – Fluent (Written & spoken) for editing purposes
German is an asset
• Administrative Skills: Creative and outgoing character with high communication skills, good knowledge of online marketing and understanding of major marketing channels, multi-tasking ability
• Adequate knowledge of web design and web development, CRO and SEO is a plus
