Description 1- Receiving shipments from clients/agents. 2- Making the documentary revision of all the documents received from clients/agents and ensuring that they are proper and sufficient based on the customs clearance system and client own requirements. 3- Checking of shipments status with shipping lines/co-loaders. 4- Creating of jobs with all details of shipments on forwarding system (Control) and updating them with all costs and selling rates. 5- Handling over of bill of ladings to messengers to collect the delivery orders once shipments arrived or documents are received from clients. 6- Sending of payment requests to accounts to arrange required funds for discharging fees, storage, demurrage ,,etc 7- Updating client with shipments status on daily basis. 8- Calculation and sending of customs duties requests to clients to issue the customs cheques or approve the deductions from customs current account. 9- Calculation of storage and demurrage and coordination with messengers to settle the storage/demurrage so shipment can be released from ports. 10- Sending of trucking order to trucking department and following up with them on the release and delivery of shipments. 11- Following up the costs of the customs clearance and updating them on system.
Qualifications BA Degree is Essential. Experience : 2 + years. experience in operations of customs clearance.
