Job Summary
- Chestnut Learning is an educational technology start-up which creates digital educational products. We presently employ over 200 members of staff across our Cairo and UK offices. We are currently looking for an excellent mathematics content writer to be based in our UK office in Windsor to write and edit educational content for mathematics students and teachers.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit detailed solutions to our dynamically generated problem sets ensuring they are well written, logically structured, easy to read, pedagogically valuable, and in the right style for the intended audience
- Write and edit mathematical instructional materials and other content for an external audience
- Take ownership and responsibility for the quality of all written content
- In collaboration with other content writers, update, improve, and expand upon current content honing its pedagogical value
- Work on different aspects of curriculum design
- Liaise regularly with content writers and developers face-to-face, by email, and by phone
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics
- Mathematical writing, copyediting, or other related experience preferred

Compensation
- Annual gross salary offered for this position is in the range of £30,000–£36,000
