Procurement Supervisor For Chestnut Learning 2017

Job Summary
The procurement supervisor is responsible for monitoring the procurement process and keeping up-to-date accurate records for all approved suppliers.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising the purchasing staff.
  • Collecting procurement plans from all company units and consequently developing a quarterly procurement plan.
  • Developing annual and quarterly budgets.
  • Reviewing the suppliers’ files to ensure all the required paperwork is included and the contract is up-to-date.
  • Supervising the implementation of online purchasing as well as payment.
  • Preparing and submitting a monthly status report to the administration manager detailing the work progress in the procurement department.
  • Performing regular evaluations for all suppliers, including food suppliers, and pricing arrangements to ensure the company achieves the most favorable commercial deals.
  • Handling significant supply issues to guarantee awareness of any potential difficulties.
  • Negotiating and managing the suppliers’ contracts.
  • Performing spot checks on procurement documents for internal auditing purposes.
  • Assignment as a contact with the GP team to solve any problems in the procurement module.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any relevant field
  • 3–5 years of experience in the same position
  • Good command of English
  • Excellent computer skills
