Job Summary
A Senior Database Developer will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
  • Creating complex queries on large data sets.
  • Creating stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Generating codes to extract, transform, and load data from miscellaneous (e.g. XML, flat files...) data sources to SQL Server or No-SQL Databases.
  • Tuning complex queries to optimize database performance.
  • Creating backup strategies and maintenance plans.
  • Reporting required statistics to upper management.
  • Creating database integration processes between multiple DB engines and objects.
Qualifications & Work Experience
  • B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • +2 years of related experience
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL server 2014 and T-SQL at least
  • Expert skills in SQL programming, stored procedure, writing, debugging, and tuning
  • Experience in data modeling and database design and being well versed with SQL Server best practices
  • Hands-on SQL-XML programming skills
  • XML extraction and transformation
  • XML databases and indexing/search/Lucene (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of No-SQL database (preferred)
  • Big data analytics concepts (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of console application and web applications is a plus
