Description - Manage the processes of Patent Evaluation, Patent Valuation, and commercialization;whether licensing or Research spin-offs. - Contact & build mutual collaboration with Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, & Wealth Management Companies in order to foster Innovation & Entrepreneurship. - Manage economic and comparative studies to determine the economic feasibility of the available technologies. - Provide the Director of Research Office, researchers, and entrepreneurs with the all information pertinent to the actual needs of the Egyptian market across various domains (Agriculture & Food Security, Biomedical, Energy, Telecom, Engineering, Environment, High-Tech, etc.). - Strengthen the connections between ZC research activities and the demands of the Egyptian society through: 1) Distribution of international and national annual, semi-annual, quarter, and monthly reports that are pertinent to , in general, regional market demand, and, in specific, Egypt market needs & demands. 2) Hosting networking events that link Egyptian government, including its pertinent ministries & bodie inside and outside Zewail City. - Fetch around for new technologies that fits with Zewail Citys strategic research themes. - Collaborate with In-House Marketing & Communications Department and external IP marketing Consultants in order to develop integrated marketing communication plans for Zewail Citys IP assets (e.g. inventions, patents, prototypes, know-how, etc.) & Measurement of Marketing Communications performance. - Supervise the development of Technology Transfer Software for Intellectual Asset Management in collaboration Portfolio Management System Developing Companies.
Qualifications - A post-graduate qualification in the area of technology transfer (e.g. Certified Licensing Professional, Registered Technology Transfer Manager). - A PhD in a Science field or MBA is preferable but not essential. - Relevant work experience within academic and/or industrial spaces, and being involved in the identification and commercialization of intellectual property (IP) through licensing, selling out, or spinning off. - Not less than 2 years experience in technology transfer and commercialization, intentional patent filling, and licensing. - Track record in developing agreements and business partnerships. - A good knowledge of the IP protection processes, procedures, and laws.
