Description - Develops cost accounting system.
- Analyzes actual manufacturing costs and prepares reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Calculates estimates of new and proposed product costs.
- Supervises physical inventory counts and cycle counts
- Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
- Update standard costs in the bill of material & Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
- Recommends cost efficiencies in new product layouts.
- Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
- Report on margins by product and division
Qualifications B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, CMA or any other costing related certificate is preferred.
