Description 1- Receive and identify all requirements in purchase request.
2- Identify the BOQ with the requester.
3- Ensure that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
4- Receiving the price quotations from different suppliers. (competitive quotes)
5- Issuing sheet of comparison.
6- Coordinate with requesters and suppliers for finalization of quantity and quality.
7- Establish delivery terms, time and receiving criteria for the supplied goods or services.
8- Negotiate the best payment terms and contract conditions, maintaining high level of integrity.
9- Issuance of Purchase order.
10- Tracking and expediting of Shipment.
11- Handle Delivery and inspection of items.
12- Keep accurate records to justify the process.
13- Assist in Insurance claims, if any.
14- Keep updated with market developments and assist in Vendor Development.
15- Regularly train on company development programs.
16- Arrange and participate in meetings between suppliers and Company engineers and other personnel to facilitate standardization and economical procurement.
17- Assist Costing Department as required.
18- Follow up payment process till final settlement with finance department.
19- Has a good knowledge with custom and clearance documentation.
20- Aware with sea and airfreight terms and conditions.
Qualifications * University graduate technical discipline preferred engineering *From 2 to 3 years experience in commercial role, local & foreign roles. * Excellent MS Office * Excellent English Writing & Speaking.
