Description - Verify stock inventory levels and prepares a list of supplies/ items required based upon established inventory levels, communicated operational needs and established re-order cycles and sends them to the Procurement Officer.
- Screen and approves of purchase requisitions in order to avoid duplication of existing stock.
- Control Stores inventory items according to prescribed inventory procedures and categorizations.
- Record receipt and disbursement of inventory in the inventory control system and edits stock levels accordingly.
- Keep the storage facility neat and clean and ensure that safety rules and practices in the storage are being followed.
- Keep an accurate record of inventory levels by performing regular stock counts and maintains records for inventory received, released, returned or disposed.
- Prepare the Material Receiving Report (M.R.R) for all materials received or returned to inventory.
- Prepare the Procurement Report Form (PRF) for material order requests.
- Prepare the monthly incoming and outgoing inventory reports.
- Monitor the minimum quantity of spare parts.
- Ensure effective communication between Stores and operations in order to achieve the planned quality, cost and delivery objectives.
