Job Description
JOB TITLE: Accountant and administrator (Cairo office)

REPORT TO: Regional Financial Controller

Role
Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) is looking for a candidate to perform accounting/admin tasks that will support our regional finance team based in Dubai.

Accountant responsibilities include raising timely client invoices, working closely with the client servicing team, ensuring costs are tracked and invoices are raised on a timely manner. Recording financial transactions into our ERP and reconciling invoices.

SKILLS + COMPETENCIES
At This Level, You Will Be Able To
  • Issue invoices to clients and work closely with the client servicing team, tracking costs.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Reconciling invoices and identifying discrepancies
  • Enter financial transactions into ERP
  • VAT/WHT/GOSI payment and filing
  • All admin related works and assisting HR related works including medical insurance related works.
  • Setting up suppliers and negotiating pricing.
  • Handling Petty cash
  • Liaise with company auditors for all audit related works.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Experience Required: 4-5 Years
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
  • Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
  • Graduate in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
