Job Scope
To drive the initiatives of centralized coordination, tracking & monitoring of all day-to-day activities related to Logistics Excellence for enhancing overall financials, savings to be best in class operational efficiency. Act as a key link between Operations, Global Logistics, Digital Supply Chain, and different teams and work with Ultra Logistic transport planning team to coordinate and execute day to day operations in the most optimum and efficient manner.
This role reports direct line to Logistics Excellence & Digital Transformation Manager NALI & Arabia.
Roles & Responsibilities
Improving Operational Efficiencies: Monitor, track & coordinate for the various Logistics Excellence related activities for day-to-day operational efficiency & analysis.
Responsible for assisting NALI & Arabia teams in achieving distribution financials KPIs
Assisting NALI & Arabia teams in optimizing WH & Transportations operations
Leading NALI & Arabia savings along with operations team
SRS Champion for NALI & Arabia and global contact for region
Managing & monitoring CAPEX locally & with global team for NALI & Arabia monthly
Carbon Champion for WH & Transportation managed with local & Global team for NALI and Arabia
Responsible for WH ABC study in case of WH transition or WH evaluation
Determine operational metrics by studying business models; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
Rolling out best practices Globally along with Global team
Perform monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports
Focal point between Operations & Global Logistics
Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues
Financials Power BI owner for NALI & Arabia in partnership with digital team
Essential
Key Competencies & Skills:
Engineering/ Logistics / Business Administration degree
Fluent English, preferably in Arabic and French
Proficiency in MS Office applications
Excellent communication skills
Excellent analytics skills
Excellent working knowledge of Supply Chain Processes
Preferred
SAP or any ERP system knowledge is preferable
Understanding of Warehouse & Transportation management practices, distribution network & channels
