ROLE SUMMARY
The Procurement Analytics specialist is responsible for the process of obtaining, recording, cleaning and analyzing MAF Group’s extensive amount of Procurement data produced (spend, budget, projects, savings etc.) to support Procurement Executives and Leadership with having the right insights and making appropriate informed decisions. A key priority is to provide reporting that is accurate, informative and insightful.
ROLE PROFILE
- Support other team members in managing and maintaining the procurement database ensuring clean and accurate data is available.
- Analyse the spend profile to identify the improvement opportunities.
- Support the team with specific data analytics projects.
- Perform testing of systems in relation to data migration to new ERP and Procurement system to ensure data is migrated accurately and efficiency.
- Work with the senior specialist to deliver clear, timely and insightful PowerPoint, Sequels and Power BI presentations for senior stakeholders in Procurement.
- the Procurement Analytics Specialist will play a critical role in supporting with Data Analytics and Reporting. for the Procurement team.
- The role holder needs to support the team in ensuring the data being reported is accurate, cleansed and aligned with other functions and stakeholders.
- Under the guidance of the Procurement Analytics Manager, the role holder will be developing insightful reporting and analytics using software such as Power BI.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science / data analytics.
- 2+ years of experience in similar position.
- Fluency in communications in English and Arabic.
- Strong technical skills such as Excel and Powerpoint skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
