Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and maintain cost data and expenses database
• Track fixed (salaries, rent, insurance) and variable costs (raw materials, operations)
• Review and reconcile standard and actual costs
• Prepare budget reports and cost forecasts (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend solutions
• Analyze product costs and cost impact from changes in design, materials, and methods
• Maintain cost accounting system and conduct audits
• Develop cost reduction strategies and ensure optimal ROI
• Monitor inventories and cycle count program
• Investigate discrepancies and perform reconciliations
Job Requirements:
• BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the food industry
• Proven experience as a Cost Accountant, Analyst, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills
• Integrity and ability to handle confidential information
