NERIC is Hiring | Junior Treasury Accountant
National Egyptian Railway Industries (NERIC) is looking for a Junior Treasury Officer to join our Finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily cash position monitoring and bank balance updates.
Assist with bank reconciliations and treasury-related records.
Support banking transactions and communication with banks.
Assist in the preparation, issuance, amendment, and closure of Letters of Credit (LCs).
Support the processing and monitoring of Letters of Guarantee (LGs), including renewals and cancellations.
Maintain accurate records of LCs, LGs, and related banking documents.
Monitor expiry dates and follow up on required actions.
Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Commercial, and other internal departments regarding treasury documentation.
Ensure proper filing and documentation in line with company policies and banking requirements.
Support the Treasury team in day-to-day operations and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships or practical exposure are welcome.
Basic knowledge of Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs) is an advantage.
Skills
Good understanding of basic treasury and banking operations.
Good command of MS Excel.
Familiarity with ERP or banking systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Good communication and follow-up skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
