Description - Developing and maintaining Android applications for client usage, shared code libraries, and internal products and tools - Contribute to the team while helping our team and products to get better. - Work closely with other developers and designers to drive the evolution and expansion into new technology areas, market segments & value added mobile experiences - Involvement in various aspects of the software development lifecycle including requirements Capture, design, implementation, testing, installation and support. - Work with Senior Engineers to thoroughly understand software requirements, deliverables and Timelines - Unit and system test new services, releases and software upgrades - Ability to specialize in specific lifecycle phases to meet the needs of the Company. - Ensure the Polaris Quality Management System is followed throughout the development Process.
Qualifications - Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering - Fluency with Android SDK, Java and related technologies - 0 - 2 years’ experience with Java and Android SDK - Professional application development knowledge, preferably with large backend systems or with a high number or users - Knowledge of Eclipse IDE - Knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP, JSON XML) - Knowledge of databases preferably for mobile apps - Basic fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and problem solving

Other Skills - Exceptional attention to detail - Good organizational and problem solving skills - Team player who is self-motivated and well organized - Strong oral and written communication skills - Skilled at researching and extracting information crucial for applications development - Keep on updating information and learning about the latest technologies introduced - Experience developing enterprise software products in a large-scale project
