Description Search for new vendors and suppliers. Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery time. Implements the procurement function and oversees all aspects of purchasing, negotiations, strategy, tool and process implementation for procurement related to goods and services. Examine, select, order, and purchase merchandise at the most favorable price, consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements and other factors. Data entry of purchased products description, prices & quantities. Maintain stock balancing and product movement for consumers and support inventory control. Recommend mark-up rates, mark-down rates, and selling prices for merchandise. Use computers for data entry, organize and locate inventory, and operate spreadsheet and word processing software. Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, cost, delivery, product quality or performance and inventories. Monitor and analyze sales records, price trends, or economic conditions to anticipate consumer buying patterns and determine what the company will sell or reorder and how much inventory is needed. Confer with sales personnel to obtain information about customer needs and preferences. Monitor competitors sales activities and new products introduced. Performs all other duties as may be assigned by the Procurement Manager.
Qualifications Professional knowledge in Pharmacy & Cosmetics Products Professional knowledge in Retail principles, methods, and applications Professional knowledge in Wholesale and Retail Procurement
