Description This position is accountable for managing the effective and efficient operation of accounting function(s). The Accounting Manager is responsible for the development,implementation and maintenance of all accounting systems and records including ledger accounts, financial statements, internal controls, systems and management reports and income and expenses within the organization. Responsible for managing the department budget and ensuring fundamental financial controls are in place and being followed. Manage day-to-day accounting activities in accordance with the organisations accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills Good organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions
