Description ROLE PURPOSE: The Child Protection Project Officer is accountable for ensuring the development, implementation and achievement of the project objectives focused on irregular migration and assisting the Project Manager in line with Save the Children International (SCI) policies. S/he will have significant responsibility for day-to-day implementation, including sustainability efforts and technical assistance to local stakeholders and implementation of project activities in regards to advocacy campaigning and raising awareness on irregular migration of minors.
Qualifications • Degree in a Social Sciences, with communication and social marketing background • Minimum of 2 years of successful experience in project implementation with strong experience with on the field work preferably in advocacy and raising awareness • Proven knowledge and skills in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation • Evidence of analytical understanding and a commitment to improving child rights • Good training and facilitation skills • Fluency in Arabic and English required • Report writing skills in English required • Good knowledge of child protection issues will be an added advantage
