Description Greet customers entering establishments. Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services. Maintains customer records by updating account information. Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customers complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs. Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges. Contact customers in order to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Checking the maintaining checkout areas clean and tide. Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales. Compute and record totals of transactions. Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
Qualifications o Knowledge of customer service principles and processes o Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment o From 1 - 3 years in same position.
