Description To lead the local site purchasing organization to deliver maximum benefit from global, regional and local sourcing; Sourcing product and managing vendor relationships for the Indirect Spend Category/Sector; Delivering the indirect spend category strategy to the business (projects, risk management, SRM); Drive the growth of procurement professionalism within Novartis Egypt buyer community by working with them as a team; Maximizing value within the business from all In direct Spend 3rd party spend, in line with functional, business, regional & global agendas; Working across the region and responsible for the local management and coordination of Indirect spend (through implementation of key Sourcing processes; Responsible for working with the sourcing group managers in the region to devise and manage the sector/category strategy for, managing the local commercial relationship with the supply base, as determined by the sourcing group strategies; Drive the use of best-practice tools (Save Track, e-Sourcing) and processes (Supplier management, program management) across the Category/buyer community; Being the main point of New synergies development projects and Value optimization. Daily purchasing management; Provide overall leadership of the local site purchasing organization; define and/or approve the local site purchasing strategy;
Qualifications BA of relevant academic study, as well as 10 years of experience in related functions in a multinational organization; SAP background is a must
