Description Monitor regular daily database operations including; problem resolution, performance monitoring, and tuning‡etc to ensure proper work operation. Supervise the production system on-call rotation to ensure proficiency. Test and document database installations, upgrades and configuration standards to ensure alignment. Tune databases to optimize performance to ensure high level of performance. Responsible for the performing and maintaining required capacity plan to provide proper support. Review the Implementation of security measures to safeguard databases against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure. Supervise Maintaining databases operation procedures to ensure alignment with company policies and procedures. Monitor policies, procedures and standards relating to database management including backups and disaster recovery to ensure compliance. Responsible for deploying backup and ensure the ability to restore.
Qualifications Communication, interpersonal, and team work skills. Well organized, hard worker with strong documentation skills even under pressure. Problem solving & customer service skills. High desire to continually update knowledge.
