Description Define, design, execute and plan necessary application tests. Defect reporting, management and tracking till closure. Generate detailed reports on application status and quality. Creating and/or updating automated tests when needed, using functional test automation tools. Ensure quality standards within the department are being followed, and help in process improvement. Assist in investigation and evaluation of new tools when needed. Requirements review and ability to uncover ambiguities or errors in the business and/or system requirements. Estimation of testing tasks. Define and report metrics that reflect project status and quality. Take charge of building powerful automated test suites. Participate in developing quality standards within the department, and help in process improvement Investigate and evaluate new tools when needed.
Qualifications B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. 1-2 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Strong background in Software Engineering. Familiar with programming or scripting language(s). Ability to write detailed test plans and test cases. Experience with defect management and test case management tools Experience with automated functional / regression testing tools. Experience in requirements ambiguity analysis and test coverage analysis is a plus.
