Description 1) Direct and coordinate the activities of Fleet Operations department in order to obtain use of equipment, facilities, and human resources. 2) Direct and coordinate the activities of Staff performing repairs and maintenance to equipment, vehicles, and facilities. Monitor and maintain the parts inventory. 3) Direct coordinate the activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles, such as trucks and other equipment. 4) Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. 5) Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. 6) Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed Pricing, and tariff increases or schedule changes. 7) Monitor and maintain truck licensing and registrations. 8) Monitor and maintain the spare parts inventory. 9) Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer (internal or external) complaints. 10) Monitor & analyze spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets 11) Study & recommend capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property in order to increase efficiency and services of operations department. 11) Participate in negotiation of contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment.
Qualifications • As Fleet Manager: Min. 8 years. • In addition to mixed experiences & knowledge in: Logistics, Transportation, Maintenance, Handling Equipment, Safety, Traffic laws and regulations • Proficient Microsoft Office. • Good command of English language • Good working knowledge of computers with intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Excel. Ability to learn company specific system software quickly.
