Description Respond in a timely and efficient manner to all technical issues and problems that arise in production — Manage the production and maintenance to ensure availability of adequate technical coverage on and carry out basis production orders. — Follow up with all relevant departments such as production planning, inventory to complete and ensure all inputs of production process is ready — Provide leadership in the maintenance, quality and production departments — Prepare and lead effective implementation of maintenance schedule for all technical sections — Ensure up to date technical competency of all operational and engineering employees to perform their roles; — Plan, design, and implement system changes, expansion and carry out special projects as directed by the CEO or sector director — Be familiar with current technologies and ensure expansion of knowledge and skills to the staff; Manage and maintain the functions operating forecasts and budgets; — Liaise with personnel department to ensure effective recruitment, selection, orientation and evaluation of the functional team — Ensure that the Health and Safety system and Quality Control and management systems are in place and adhered to. — Set targets and standards of performance for function team members — Implement policies and procedures for the technical department — Manage overall equipment effectiveness and efficient capacity utilization — Ensure product are produced in conformance to standards specifications and customer requirements — Apply ISO 9001-2008 requirements in all process in his deities
Qualifications B.Sc. in production Engineering or Mechanical Production or Management. • Minimum 5:7 years experience in senior management in a furniture manufacturing environment • Skills in project management • Proficient in MS Office • Good knowledge of wood works manufacturing technologies and wood Specifications. • Working knowledge of wood works design and furniture products development.
