Description facilitate private sector investment among various levels of agriculture value chains including but not limited to producer, processor, wholesaler and exporter levels. S/he will develop commercially viable partnerships between private sector actors, investors and financers in Egypt and abroad. S/he will be required to manage investment pipelines and identify opportunities for agricultural finance and investment.
Qualifications At least 7 years experience in the field of investment facilitation and finance. Knowledge of agricultural finance mechanisms. Experience working with commercial banks, investment funds, and non-bank finance institutions. Demonstrated ability to develop business plans and conduct investment feasibility analysis. Masters or MBA in a relevant field.

Comments The position is on a USAID-funded project which will address agriculture challenges in Upper Egypt and is expected to:a) strengthen agriculture markets and trade; b) improve agricultural practices and value added processing; and c) improve 5agriculture inputs and sector services.
