Description Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management and the administration activities of the group to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies, and regulatory compliance. Manage and control human capital and administrative strategic planning and performance objectives to ensure that they are established and accomplished in accordance with the companys strategic direction. Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety programs. Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel. Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits. Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures. Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations Approve organizational human capital and administrative policies such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of human capital and administrative problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organizations policies and practices.
