Description Plans and directs all aspects of the companys sales policies, objectives, targets, and initiatives. — Implement the long term sales plan to support existing business o Identify prospective clients for the purpose of selling and to obtain market feedback o Meet financial and operational objectives by developing sales tactics, forecasting requirements and preparing annual budget according to the principal guidelines o Anticipate market opportunities by identifying customer requirements, defining industries, competitors share and competitors strength and weaknesses o Set up, manage, control and oversee the full Ships Agency function in Egypt from inception and ensuring profitability o Ensure diversification in industries and commodities to mitigate risks o Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits and anticipating new opportunities o Participate in contract and price negotiations with customers o Develop and maintain close relationships with ports and related authorities o Ensure Sales Leads, Sales Report, Sales Planning and other reports are properly written, submitted and maintained o Report after confirming competitors new prices, services and route o Suggest counter actions for the competitors manoeuvrings o Collect customer feedback and market research
Qualifications relevant Bachelor degree , 10 years of experience 3 of them in the shipping field or related business
