Description Overall description: The teacher will have to demonstrate the required charisma and technical ability to fulfill the short- and long-term goals and objectives of Harvest. He/she will be responsible for the academic development of small groups of adult learners in a classroom setting, using Harvest unique teaching style and curriculum teachers will need to organize prepare and deliver an objectives based curriculum, keeping updated with students attendance and academic progress, through assessments both formal and informal. Duties: Prepare classroom activities that match the type and model of curriculum. Teach classes of adult learners using the unique teaching style deployed at the Academy. Attend all training sessions. Prepare reports on progression. Deliver placement tests if and where required. Manage classrooms to produce a conducive environment for active learning. Monitor student performance, attendance and activities. Monitor daily attendance. Investigate and understand causes for student absences. Develop the language aptitude for the students as they navigate through the various levels. Resolving Conflicts where they arise and Negotiating with Others -- Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with other. Assisting others - Providing personal assistance, customers, or patients. Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge -- Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job. Qualifications Headquartered in Cairo, the successful candidate will bring to the position a comprehensive understanding of teaching practices and principles including experience in the sector.
