Description Maintain process tools in Solar Module manufacturing to optimal working order. Follow all safety, quality and other manufacturing procedures. Work effectively with equipment owners and operators to troubleshoot equipment and process problems. Participate and contribute to continuous improvement and problem solving activities. Working with previous and following shifts to make smooth shift transitions. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. Execute preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment. Interface effectively with plant facility personnel (e.g., exhaust flows, hazardous waste disposal). Interface effectively with vendors and field service engineers. Participate as a team member on Emergency Response Team. Respond quickly and effectively to resolve unanticipated equipment problems Communicate orally, follow written specs and procedures, and file reports when necessary. Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards (clean, orderly workplace) Responsible for the preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance necessary to keep this maintain the facility and campus. (This includes all electrical, mechanical, structural, and water systems apart from the direct production equipment inside the plant. Operate and maintain all plant facilities including: offices and grounds) Tour plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications Associates degree or equivalent work experience/ 3 + years Industrial facility Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems and components, pneumatics and vacuum pumps. Experience with PLCs and AC motor controls. Knowledge and experience working with vision system, vacuum systems. Experience on stringers, laminators, framing, Conveyor Systems is a plus. Experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing desirable.
