Description 1.Participates in setting the standards and performance measures (KPIs) of the department in alignment to the set QC strategic objectives, and supervises their timely implementation, prepares periodic reports regarding performance against set standards. 2.Participates in setting policies and procedures for quality control activities, and monitors its execution on an on-going basis. 3.Prepares the estimated annual budget according to operating costs, and directs all activities within the approved budget and monitors any deviations. 4.Establishes and maintains a quality control system in order to achieve uniformity of work flow and allocates quality control teams ensuring the presence of quality control elements at all production lines as efficiently as possible. 5.Identifies quality standard specifications of the product through different production stages, and sets technical procedures and applicable work instructions of quality inspections, sampling techniques, and the selection criteria and monitors their ongoing implementation. 6.Identifies the reporting methodology of quality inspections results sorting out non-conformists, reviews periodical reports on quality control results to ensure the application of set quality standards and specifications. 7.Works collaboratively with the Production BUs to identify the non-conformists and their main causes, and recommends the necessary corrective and preventive actions. 8.Ensures the conformity of raw materials and supplies to the quality standards, and provides the procurement department with the required quality specification. 9. Follows up and analyzes customer complains concerning the quality of products, and works collaboratively with the concerned departments to resolve quality problems. 10.Follows up with local and international quality institutions any change within the quality standards, and suggests accordingly modifications to the companys quality policy.
Qualifications B.Sc. of Electrical Engineering is a must.
