Description Maintain standard costs as related to inventory and its overall value. Evaluate standard and actual costs for variances and report analyses to management. Establish cycle and wall-to-wall physical inventory counts. Perform reconciliations and other activities as related to month-end close process. Responsibilities: —The Cost Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to the following: —Job order costing —Variance review and analysis —Correction of variances —Standard vs. actual costing transactions —Maintenance of standard cost —Review of sub-ledger control accounts (Inventory, Work-in-Process, Un-vouchered Receipts) —General ledger maintenance / entries —Month-end close reconciliations —General financial analytical tasks —Establishing cycle and full physical inventory counts —Working with Manufacturing Department to evaluate inventory and book appropriate reserves —Supporting Manufacturing Department in determining how to transact and account for items in question —Various other accounting and inventory-related tasks, as deemed necessary
Qualifications Experience: •3 years of experience in Cost Accounting role in Print house and Manufacturing •5 years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance role(s)
