Description Specific Duties and Responsibilities: —Install, configure, connect, and troubleshoot issues for hardware, software and peripheral equipment. —Set up equipment for employees ensuring proper installation of operating systems and appropriate software. —Provide technical support onsite and over the phone (for remote users) for end-users. —Perform all activities related to administration of local area network (LAN) and operating systems like adding, modifying, deleting, assigning sign on files, passwords etc. —Complete IT documentation regarding IT procedures and equipments. —Detect, diagnose and report problems in any aspect of IT operation, i.e. hardware, software, networking, etc. —Configure and install software for IT users desktops and laptops. —Involved in the installation and rollout of new software packages, upgrades and new desktop hardware. —Provide highest level of technical support when necessary. —Executing the designed plan for networks and cabling. —Act as a point of contact for all employees and vendors that need access to the IT department. —Act as the first level of escalation for all issues related to the IT department. —Making all emails and tickets sent to the IT department are responded to and handled in a timely manner. —Making sure that there is a representative of every IT unit is available (even if on call support) to handle urgent issues during shift. —Following up on any tasks assigned the site. —Send an end of day report to the IT team and senior. —Report any major problem to the senior and IT manager. —Propose any Ideas to improve the performance to the senior and IT Manager. —Follow up with vendors to finalize proposal, set up technical meetings or get an RFO and send them to Senior. —Perform the daily test and send the results before the next day starts. —Do a healthy check on the data center for both starting and ending of the shift.
Qualifications Job Requirements : •Provide highest level of technical support when necessary. •Requires a thorough knowledge of computer networking essentials. •Proficient in server hardware and OS solutions. •Ability to work both independently and as a team player. •Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge. •Good communication and client service skills •CCNA Certificate is a MUST
